How to get to us:
By car:
From Munich – Take Motorway A95 to the end of the motorway and continue on the main road (B2) to the exit Oberau Nord. After entering the village via the roundabout, take a left turn off of the B2 to cross the railroad tracks and, after the tracks, turn left into Loisachauenstrasse, then follow the road.
from Augsburg / Oberammergau – Take the main road B17 via Schongau and further on the B23 to Oberammergau. On the B23 continue in the direction of Garmisch-Partenkirchen directly to Oberau. Turn left onto the B2 (old) towards Munich and then right to cross the railroad tracks. Then turn left into Loisachauenstrasse and follow the road.
from Stuttgart / Ulm – Take the motorway A7 in the direction of Kempten / Füssen. Take the Nesselwang exit and drive via Roßhaupten, Steingaden and Bad Bayersoien towards Oberammergau. Continue on the B23 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Oberau. Turn left onto the B2 (old) towards Munich and then right to cross the railroad tracks. Then turn left into Loisachauenstrasse and follow the road.
from Tirol / Mittenwald / Garmisch-Partenkirchen – Take the B2 in the direction towards Munich until exit Oberau Süd. Turn right to cross the railroad tracks and then left into Loisachauenstrasse and follow the road.
By train:
Regional trains run daily from Munich to Oberau, departing once per hour during the day. At the time of writing, trains depart from Munich between approx. 5am and 11pm (Check www.bahn.de/en for more accurate departure times).
The train station in Oberau is approx. 750m from our building and can easily be reached on foot (approx. a 9 minute walk).
By air:
Oberau lies within easy reach of 4 airports, Munich, Stuttgart, Memmingen and Innsbruck. Munich airport is situated approx. 120 km away (drive time: approx. 1,5 hours), whilst Innsbruck airport is approx. 60 km away (drive time: approx. 1 hour). Both airports are also easily accessible by train.
